Event Description

Come celebrate the AMAZING Women Alliance 2nd Annual Birthday Party on Tuesday, March 6th! It has been a WONDERFUL and AMAZING two years, and we want to thank you all for your AWESOME support. We all have so much to CELEBRATE! Our theme is “The Year of Confidence” and with more confidence, we can overcome fear, believe in ourselves, and achieve greater success! WAHOOOO!!! 

We are so excited and honored to have Melinda Garvey, Co-Founder of Austin Woman Magazine and Founder and Creator of On The Dot as our keynote speaker! Also, back by popular demand are our AMAZING speakers from last year, Sylvia Stern, Cherie Mathews, and Lee Moczygemba! They are going to share their stories, inspire you to think bigger, encourage you to find your passion, be more confident and achieve your goals! Please see the speaker’s bios below!

Sylvia Stern - Keynote Speaker, Professional Trainer, Communication and Image Strategist

Sylvia is a professional trainer and a popular keynote speaker. She is a founding member and Vice Chair of membership of the National Speakers Association Austin, a member of The National Speakers Association and a former vice chair at the Austin Chamber of Commerce, a member of Leadership Texas and Leadership Austin for over twenty years and continues to be an active volunteer in education and women’s issues in the community.

Lee Moczygemba - International Speaker, Trainer, Speakers Bureau Chief, Speech Coach

Lee Moczygemba is a “late bloomer” who, at age 50, left Exxon to become a professional speaker and trainer. In 2013, the Austin Chapter of the National Speakers Association presented Lee with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Her experiences will inspire and embolden you. She is now 93 and ¼. Blessed with a sharp mind, quick wit, and boundless energy, she still speaks occasionally.
