Amazing Women Alliance September Event

Event Description

Join us for our AMAZING Women Alliance September Event! This is a very special event and very near to all our hearts! We will be supporting Breast Cancer month early at our event! This is our opportunity to give back, support the women who are in need of our help, and give them the ability to heal with dignity. It will be an AWESOME evening where you will meet other AMAZING women, have great food, AMAZING networking and “pay it forward”. We look forward to seeing you there! 

THIS MONTH WE ARE HELPING SUPPORT GIFTING CARE

We are so excited that a percentage of all proceeds for our event will be donated to a LOCAL Non Profit www.GiftingCare.org who helps Austin's breast cancer patients recover in comfort and dignity post mastectomy/radiation/reconstruction.    

Gifting Care, is an independently run local non profit and is solely operated by volunteers. (They are always looking for a little help). Gifting Care provides recovery kits which include heal in comfort post surgery shirts, headbands for bad hair days and chap stick for post surgical dry chapped lips at no charge to the patients through the loving hands of the hospitals patient navigators and delivered bedside. These post surgery kits are gifted to BCRC - Breast Cancer Resource Center, Seton's Breast Care Center, Seton Main, Breckenridge and hardship cases for Komen Austin.  

Over 2,000 Comfort Kits have been distributed through Gifting Care to the other supporting local non profits.  We're all in this together and it's hard to know how to help a breast cancer patient so just think about each healincomfort recovery shirt as a personal hug from you to a woman in the battle against this horrible disease. 

Sixteen year survivor Cherie Mathews, proud member of AWA and Founder & CEO of healincomfort.com LLC is the inventor of the Award Winning and patented heal in comfort recovery shirt is proud to help our local breast cancer patients with her invention through Gifting Care. She set out to help 100 local patient which has turned into 10,000 souls. She is also proud to work with her amazing business strategist Darlene Templeton and together we are reaching more patients!
